I wonder how true this is. Reading discussions at Wikipedia itself seems to support this...though the discussions themselves are editable and ultimately controlled by said the Administrators.
Regardless of personal stance on this issue, having edited and kept up with particular posts on Wikipedia myself makes me believe it is not "flat" as well. The system there functions quite well, though this may not immediately be apparent.
