Either the true sign of a misspent youth, to know how fun the dangerous stuff is or a well spent one to be intrigued. Not telling which group my capers fall into; back then we didn't even know cars had seat belts, just a big block or a HEMI, both winners.

A truly fascinating article.
Let me take this opportunity to tell you, Mike D, that you've been tagged. My sincere apologies, for more reasons than one. Please don't let the community down.

Standing on the seat with your arms out? You'll need a throttle lock though.

i do know that some moto riders will start to smoke their back tire, and then, while the tire is spinning, climb off of the bike and stand beside it ... the bike can then be "lead" in a circle, so the whole bike rotates around the front tire with the back tire spinning and the engine at like, 6-7000 RPM.
that's sort of ghostriding.
i'll try that in Newsvine's parking lot later on today :-)

Let me know how it goes. It's this sort of thing that makes me wish I'd gotten that NV internship.
