I remember the CRX HF. Didn't know it ran on a 58 horsepower engine!

Hah...Those old records don't even go back that far Mike...That little thing was only a 1.3 liter engine, it got a huge power boast to 1.5 liters in 1989...
However 58 Hp can go a long way on a little car sometimes also if you know hoe to drive one
Like this
But with those super hot engines the HF got stuck with like:
Compression : 9.1:1
Valvetrain : SOHC
83 ft·lbf @ 2800 rpm (Torque)
Getting up there, almost a challenge for that antique old Honda CB750F I road in the 70's that had yikes...70 hp !
That is a shocker, only 58 horsepower ? OK for running around town, but I am not sure I would want to try to pass to many big trucks on the Interstate.....
Interesting article, whoa does that bring up some memories....

Theres a 65 mpg Ford Fiesta available in Mexico right now, Road Trip!!!!
heh, I'm late to this post but I've been ranting about this for years. In the 80's, 50+ mpg in a Civic was routine. 37mpg for a "Smart" car that I can fold up and put in my wallet? Are you freakin' kidding me? My wife's '96 Saturn gets 37 mpg with 200K miles on it. Is this really the best they can do?
